Meet the Artist: Erin

Hi there! I’m Erin, creator of experimental film images using fun techniques and mediums, filled with sunshine. I use 35mm and 120 medium format film. My favorite images to create are double exposures, often filled with flowers, light leaks, and bursting with color. My other loves besides film are my 2 daughters, 2 cats, the beach, thrifting/antiquing, sushi, volleyball, and trying to keep house plants alive!

I’m a Florida native and was a hybrid digital and film photographer for over 10 years, traveling to different states and countries photographing love at intimate weddings. After photographing a wedding in Asheville, I fell head over heels for the mountains and the people there, so I lived there for 5 years, enjoying the mountain life with my family. It was the greatest adventure!

Since moving back to Fl, and settling into Sarasota, I have re-kindled my love for creating art. I shoot film exclusively these days, with creative experiments and growth of spirit in myself.

I’m also a member of a really cool group of female film photographers called #shootfilmforfun that inspire each other to find new ways of self discovery through art and film mediums.
